Al Adiyat: The Story of a Boy and His Horse

Inspired by a chapter from His Highness’ book ‘My Story’, the story of Al Adiyat, was taken from early concept to full theatrical performance as part of one of Expo 2020 Dubai’s signature shows.

As part of the team that brought the show to life, I worked alongside Expo 2020’s Executive Director to create the original narrative concept, setting the poetic tone of the show and later working on the english script that was ultimately spoken to audiences throughout the shows run in Al Wasl Plaza.

Taking place in the magical world of the Expo 2020 Dubai mascots, Rashid and Latifa’s World Adventure took children and families through a fantastical journey around the world with bunch of jokes, surprises (good and bad) and of course, plenty of learning moments.

As one of the lead script writers, I worked alongside our creative production team to write and deliver this fun show, while also project managing the delivery of the digital aspects of the set.
